The upper shroud is about 7 1/2 long. Originals were about 6 5/8 long, To be really correct you can cut the tube to the correct length. Some have used a hacksaw (carefully), others have cut them on a lathe. You can also have the end of the shroud flared to mimic the original.

Disappointed. Ordered two front and two rear. The two front are as pictured, made in Mexico, red in color, a quality looking shock in a Gabriel box. The rear shocks are not as pictured, made in China, black in color, not the quality in a Gabriel box.
