I needed about the front 10 inches of this and when the shop installed it, they found it to be about 3/8” to wide and about 3/8” too short. We compared it to the original section and It was clearly stamped wrong. I also compared to the passenger side I bought and that one had the correct width but the over all height was too high by about 1/4 inch. Also had to rework the hole where the frame would have attached to the assembly line pin. OEM was an oval hole, these come with just a round hole so if you’re going for the authentic look, beware you’ll need to do some extra metal work.

Not plug and play. Good steel, welds well. Length is near equal, body is wider than original. Required sectioning at ends to fit tightly on front frame rail and at rear to tightly accept tin man frame connectors. Also outboard edge required creating a flange to weld to underside of floor pan.In the absence of the correct factory part, will work. Price was right. Quick shipping.
