This Front Air Dam/Upper Valance Panel mounting kit from NPD provides the necessary hardware to correctly install side brackets onto the front fenders, ensuring a secure and proper fit. The kit includes four OE-style hex head washer nuts finished in Phosphate & oil, designed to help install the side brackets onto the lower front fender section once attached to the lower valance panel. If your original brackets are still in good condition but the hardware is worn out, this kit is a great option to restore your Foxbody Mustang appearance and functionality.

Restoration Note:

According to NPD research, the mounting nuts were originally available in two finishes: Phosphate & Oil and Yellow Zinc Dichromate. However, it appears that the only finish currently available is the Phosphate & Oil finish.

Installation Note:

Each original bracket features a thread stud that is designed to install into the lower front fender section. The lower front air dam / valance panel features two of these bracket per side. This kit includes enough mounting nuts to do both side.

If you're seeking the precise mounting hardware to attach the brackets to the front air dam/valance panel, NPD recommends part number M-8T234-1K, which is the correct mounting rivet kit for this application.
