The kit includes 8 OE-style aluminum rivets with a 0.375" head size, specifically designed for this application. If you've drilled out your original rivets but still have good condition brackets, this kit is the perfect replacement to ensure a secure fit, available from NPD today.

Restoration Note:

According to NPD's research, the original mounting rivets installed on the factory side brackets could have either had a 0.350" or 0.375" head diameter. To ensure compatibility with potentially damaged or previously modified air dam/valance panels, NPD has opted for the larger 0.375" head style rivets in this kit, guaranteeing a secure and proper fit.

Installation Note:

The original brackets have two mounting holes on the top side, allowing for installation onto the front air dam/valance panel. The brackets are designed to be mounted under the urethane tab on the air dam, with the rivets installed from the top side to secure the bracket in place. This kit from NPD includes 8 mounting rivets, sufficient for installing all 4 brackets, providing a secure and proper fit.

Note:

If you're seeking the precise mounting hardware to attach the brackets to the front lower fender section, NPD recommends part number M-8T234-1AK, which is the correct mounting nuts for this application.
