VALANCE PANEL, FRONT, UPPER, ORIGINAL FORD TOOLING, PRIOR PART NUMBER D9ZZ-17626-A, E4CY-17626-A, E5ZZ-17626-A
This unit is designed to be an exact reproduction of the original front valance panel for 1979 Indy Pace Cars as well as other Fox Body Mustang models from 1980-82! This unit is made off the original Ford Tooling and is based off of the D9ZZ-17626-A original Ford part number. These units are constructed from a Urethane material just like the originals and are designed to give you that factory fit and finish.
Restoration Note:
These units were also used on 1984-86 Mercury Capri RS models. The part number for the Mustang application is the D9ZZ-17626-A and then was replaced in 1984 to the E4CY-17626-A unit to be used on the Capri applications.
In the Original Ford Illustration Ford called this panel the upper valance panel section as the cars also featured a lower section that enclosed or went from the upper valance to the core support section. This section was call the lower section. NPD is proud to offer this lower section under part number M-17626-1B.
