The Ford Performance M-6392-E bellhousing is a direct replacement for the original bellhousing in 1983-1993 Mustangs with 5.0L engines, but it can also be used for earlier models such as 1965-1973 Mustangs and other Ford models with 289, 302, or 351 Windsor engines when converting to a T-5 transmission. Made from durable cast aluminum construction and manufactured using Ford's original tooling, this bellhousing ensures a precise fit and correct mounting points. It includes all necessary holes and mounting points for easy installation, as well as a pivot stud and transmission bolts for added stability.

For installation in classic Mustangs or Ford models, the Ford Performance M-6392-E bellhousing requires a fulcrum block adapter (NPD# 7522-10A) for the equalizer bar, or a cable clutch conversion setup to ensure proper fitment and functionality.
