The shim kit consists of 16 shims each of 0.030" and 0.060", designed to accurately set the pre-load for one rocker arm set, with the option to stack a thin and a thick shim for a total adjustment of 0.090". It's advisable to only stack one 0.030" and one 0.060" shim together; if further adjustment is necessary, sourcing a different length pushrod is recommended to ensure optimal lifter pre-load.
