These Ford Performance M-6500-R302 stock-style replacement lifters are designed for 1985-1995 Ford Mustang 5.0L models, featuring a hydraulic tappet design with roller tips to reduce noise and enhance power. They are compatible with stock or aftermarket roller cams and 5/16-inch pushrods, but not with flat tappet cams. For those building roller blocks or using FRPP short blocks, a lifter retainer kit (M-6253-A50) is recommended.

Note:
For higher-revving applications, opt for the M-6500-R302H or NPD # M-6500-4FRB lifters, which can support an extra 200-300 RPM. Keep in mind, these lifters are only suitable for roller cam-compatible blocks.
