Installation Note:
This starter kit from Ford Performance is designed to work with 10R80 Automatic Transmissions. It is designed to work on Mod Motor or Coyote Swap applications for 1979-2010 Mustangs and is not a direct replacement for those swaps.
The mounting hardware included in this kit may be different than your original starter mounting hardware and may require you to reuse you original hardware for proper mounting.
Note:
This unit is also not designed to be used with Manual Transmission as well as 4R70W and 6R80 Automatic Transmissions and requires a different unit. See NPD part number M-11002-110FR for correct starter kit.
