These units feature the Ford Performance part number M-6000-J302R and is designed to fit 1986-1993 5.0L Mustang with EFI engines. These units are made from high quality cast aluminum and feature black satin finish with ribbed top and Ford Racing logo. This kit includes both RH and LH side valve covers as well as matching matte black style oil cap. Installation Note:

These units are designed with the internal oil baffle on on the passenger side valve cover. Checking for proper rocker arm to valve cover clearance is required to prevent damage. These units are designed to work with most OEM style roller rocker arms. They will not work with stud mounted or girdled style rocker arms.

Some engine applications and intake styles may interfere with these taller valve covers. A proper intake spacer may be require to clear valve cover. See NPDs selection of intake spacers.

These units work best when combined with the proper valve cover gaskets. NPD offers the correct style or improved steel O-ring style gaskets that work best with these valve covers. See NPD part number M-6584-7C for correct style gaskets.
