NPD recommends replacing your original flywheel hardware when installing a new unit for optimal performance and safety. We provide a variety of flywheel bolt options from reputable manufacturers such as ARP (M-6379-6ARP) and RAM (M-6379-6BRK) to meet your specific requirements.
It's essential to inspect the original clutch pilot bearing and rear main seal when replacing the flywheel, particularly if you're converting your classic Ford to a T-5 or similar Tremec transmission; upgrading to a roller-style pilot bearing is required for enhanced performance. NPD provides a variety of options to meet your specific requirements during this upgrade process.
Severe engine damage can occur if you use the wrong flywheel or crankshaft damper for your engine. Please check with your engine builder to ensure that you purchase the correct flywheel or damper for your specific engine application.
