This kit features the Ford Performance part number M-4210-A and is perfect for gear installation in new vehicles with new bearings. Fits all 8.8-inch axles 1986-present including IRS, Kit includes: pinion and carrier shims, crush sleeve, pinion seal, pinion nut, and ring gear bolts.

This Level 1 kit is specifically designed for basic rear gear installation, ideal for situations where new bearings are not needed. NPD also offers two additional kits to accommodate varying installation requirements: the Level 2 kit (part number M-4210-6FRB) and the Level 3 kit (part number M-4210-7FRC), ensuring you find the perfect solution for your gear installation needs.
Ford Performance requires 4-ounces of friction modifier to be used with initial fill. See NPD part number F-19546-1 for correct CM-19546-A1 part number. NPD also offers a full line of high quality Motorcraft gear oil to go with this correct friction modifier needed to get you back on the road.
When installing any new rear gears proper speedometer calibration will be required.
