The Ford Performance 429/460 oil pan swap kit, featuring part number M-6675-A460, is a comprehensive kit designed to fit all 1979-1995 Mustangs and Fox chassis vehicles, allowing them to upgrade to a 1968-1997 production block. This kit includes a 6 quart rear sump oil pan, oil pan gasket, dipstick, dipstick tube, pickup, and main cap stud, making it perfect for engine swaps.

Manufacture Note:

429/460/7.5L oil pan kit. Includes rear sump oil pan, dipstick, dipstick tube, pickup, and main cap stud. Ideal for engine swaps. Fits 1979-1995 Mustangs and Fox chassis vehicles. Fits 1968-1997 production blocks.Rear sump oil pump required, not included.Fasteners not included. NOTE: Some block/timing cover applications may require 5/16" to 1/4" conversion studs. Not recommended for M-6010-A460 Race Block.

Installation Note:

The Ford Performance oil pan kit does not include oil pan bolts or mounting hardware, so you'll need to reuse your original components or purchase mounting hardware from NPD, see part number 6675-6AK.

The Ford Performance oil pan kit is designed to be used with standard volume engine oil pumps, such as NPD part number 6600-12, and requires the correct 429 oil pump driveshaft, either NPD part number 6A618-6. While a high-volume oil pump can be used, such as NPD part number F-6600-19B or Ford Performance part 6600-12FR, slight modifications to the oil pan body may be necessary for proper clearance. Note you must use the oil pick that is included in this kit.

This unit will not clear aftermarket main girdles and does not include a oil pan gasket. You will need to purchase the Ford Performance Oil pan gasket M-6710-10FRB to complete the install.

Note:

NPD offers oil pan swap kits specifically designed for certain engine applications, including the 5.0L 302 engine (part number M-6675-302FR) and the 5.8L 3351W engine for 79-95 Fox chassis vehicles (part number M-6675-351FR).
