The Ford Performance 351W oil pan swap kit, featuring part number M-6675-A58, is a comprehensive kit designed to fit all 1979-1995 Mustangs and Fox chassis vehicles, allowing them to upgrade to a 1969-1997 production block. The kit includes a 5 quart rear sump oil pan, dipstick, dipstick tube, pickup, and main cap studs, making it a complete solution for engine swaps.

Manufacture Note:

351W/5.8L oil pan kit. Includes rear sump oil pan, dipstick, dipstick tube, pickup, and main cap stud. Ideal for engine swaps. Fits 1979-1995 Mustangs and Fox chassis vehicles. Fits 1969-1997 production blocks. Fasteners not included.

Installation Note:

The Ford Performance oil pan kit does not include oil pan bolts or mounting hardware, so you'll need to reuse your original components or purchase ARP's oil pan bolts or stud kits from NPD, which can be used with or without factory reinforcement rails.

The oil pan is designed to be compatible with or without oil pan flange reinforcement rails, and if your original oil pan came with these rails, you'll need to either reuse your original units or purchase a new set, specifically the Ford Performance units (part number M-6A674-351FR) for 5.8L applications.

The Ford Performance oil pan kit is designed to be used with standard volume engine oil pumps, such as NPD part number 6600-7, and requires the correct 351W oil pump driveshaft, either NPD part number 6A618-3 or 6A618-3A. While a high-volume oil pump can be used, such as NPD part number F-6600-17A or Ford Performance part F-6600-17FR, slight modifications to the oil pan body may be necessary for proper clearance.

This unit will not clear aftermarket main girdles and does not include a oil pan gasket. You will need to purchase the Ford Performance Oil pan gasket M-6710-10FRB to complete the install.

Note:

NPD offers oil pan swap kits specifically designed for certain engine applications, including the 5.0L 302 engine (part number M-6675-302FR) and the 429/460 big block engine for 79-95 Fox chassis vehicles (part number M-6675-460FR).
