If you are replacing floor boards on your 1st gen Camaro or Firebird this is the panel you want. It has the CORRECT GM stamping + the gauge is thicker + there is more steel that goes up on the trans tunnel + steel welds up better than the Taiwan pops. Had got a D.Corn panel and had to send it back - this panel is so much nicer. Also, the photo is slightly wrong it shows the drain holes cut out - I'm actually thankful and happy it ships with them NOT cut out. I'm not interested in gluing in temp filler plates to match factory original. My Camaro will never go into a dip tank and thus I would rather have solid sheet metal floors. Also, it comes bare metal - which again I like for I would otherwise want to blast off the E-coating before prime and paint anyway!

I drove 2 hours to pick some metal patch panels up for my1968 Camaro. I wanted to compare the quality of the e-coated import to the Canadian raw metal floor panels. This product was made of a thicker metal and did not have as many wrinkles in the bends. The big problem is that the pinch weld tab that welds to the rocker is bent improper and is bent inward toward the inside of the car and did not allow it to be installed properly. The salesman said they would get with purchasing and let them know. I waited a month later and called to see if they got new batch of product in with the pinch weld tab bent correctly and they checked on it and said that is how the product is made. I will not be purchasing it because it is not made correctly and can't be welded to the pinch weld on the underside of the car.
