This emblem is designed to be an exact reproduction of the original YR3Z-16228-AB emblem that was used on 2000 thru 2003 Mustang GTs. It features the same correct black background with the correct style font and proper chrome plating. This emblem is an Official Licensed product by Ford. So if you emblem is missing, faded or broke this reproduction unit will get you back to look stock in no time.
Restoration Note:
This unit is designed for 2000 thru 2003 Mustang GTs and was not used on the 1999 and 2004 models due to these models having the two different anniversary emblems. NPD offers these anniversary as well.
Installation Note:
These front fender GT emblems can be used for the rear stick on trunk lid emblem as they are the same exact size and shape as the fender emblems. You will need to cut the fender location tabs off the backside to install them properly.
Note:
This GT style emblem may be able to be used on the 1999 and 2004 Mustang as a replacement or upgrade.
