If you are looking to replace your missing or broken original sway bar mounting bracket then NPD has you covered. This new reproduction bracket is based off the original E1SZ-5486-A & E6ZZ-5486-A Ford part numbers. This unit features the correct 2.84 inch height as well as the correct shape and bends just like original. They are designed to fit either RH or LH side and are black powder coated to ensure a like new finish. So, if you are wanting to get your restoration started in the right direction look at picking up some of these bracket from NPD today!
Restoration Note:
This front sway bar bracket was based off original NOS samples. The original E1SZ-5486-A Ford part number was replaced by the E6ZZ-5486-A number. NPD has compared these two original Ford part numbers to find that they look almost identical. NPD reproduction units are based off the later E6ZZ-5486-A Ford part number.
Installation Note:
This sway bar bracket is designed to install just like your factory unit. It is designed to be used with original or NPD reproduction sway bar mounting bracket adapters. See NPD part number M-5B482-1A for correct adapter bracket. This unit will also work with factory or aftermarket sway bar bushings.
This bracket is also designed to work with factory or NPD reproduction front sway bar retainer plates. See NPD part number M-5486-1SAK or M-5486-2SAK for correct kits.
Note:
