This accumulator kit will replace the original V.I.R. and is recommended when converting to 134a refrigerant in order to maintain the systems efficiency. To regulate the system with the V.I.R. eliminated this kit includes a clutch cycle switch which will allow the compressor to properly cycle. Unlike other kits on the market this one does not require altering of the factory A/C hoses.
