Door skin fit very well, about as good as I could expect. This was my first skin replacement, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Arrived quickly and the shipping cost was very reasonable.

The front top edge of the skin is made wrong, the hem is 1/4" off. The top area will have to be reformed or it will not match the fender. The slots that hold the window felt strip are stamped in the incorrect location and not parallel to the top surface of the door. The window felt wont fit into the door. These are only good if you needed a lower patch that you cut from the skin. Would post pictures of this but no way to on this site.

To all potential buyers - While we do not question the challenges outlined in this review, we must point out that fit to the fender depends entirely upon whether the fender is original or repro, and if repro, what brand/tooling/era (and by era, realize that repro fenders were being made from the mid-1980's forward, and many generations of toolings have come and gone over the years). Furthermore, with windowfelts, there's RePops (best), and PUI and Dale's and Fairchild and and and... Point being, it's impossible to determine the variables that were in-play with this review. We've been selling these door skins for quite a long time with relatively success.
