Nice cloth like sleeve. Although not listed for a 68 mustang, it is in fact exactly what was needed for my 68 door latch rods. Mine old ones were just shot and needed badly to prevent rattles in door.

Please tell me how to install this? Too tight to fit over rod supports. Tried hot water, heating in oven, Vaseline and soap. Maybe fits without the additional rod support, but this does not fit.
