My old one would not keep the door closed I couldn't see anything wrong with it but the new definitely keeps the door closed and open very nicely

A well built, quality part. the latch looks good and it works very well. A rather tedious project having to align rods, pawl etc., yet a much needed item.

I installed this to replace a broken latch on a 65 Fastback. It fit and looks very good. One strange issue though. The rod from the latch to the outside door handle was off by a full half inch. Since the handle door and latch were all reproductions I can’t say which was the problem. They all look and seem to fit correctly. I shortened the rod and it all works fine now
