Replacement. Fuzzy material with super sticky industrial grade adhesive backing. Replaces the mohair material originally used. Enough for both sides. Because this is very sticky you need to plan the installation out carefully before removing the adhesive cover. Once this stuff touches the metal run it isn’t coming off easily! Planning is especially crucial on getting the material tight into the corners of the run. A paint stick comes in handy for this.

Unbelievably difficult to install in glass track. Product comes with a instant contact adhesive backing. Other similar products I have used allows me to apply with cement and get properly aligned and in place. Working with this was like the proverbial Tar Baby, if you peel the backing it sticks to everything on the way in, in all the wrong places and cannot be moved without damaging it. Did not come with any instructions. If there are any, I'd be happy to see them as I only had to use it for one track and have some left over. I finally got it in one track by only removing a strip of backing to allow me to place it to the bottom of track, then finessed each side in while removing the backing for each. I still ended up with some ridges I could not smooth down.

Bought this kit to recondition the door glass tracks, you really need to do this to keep the glass tight & solid. No way to install this in one go, you will need to cut it out in three strips......... firstly, do the base followed by one side , followed by the other side, slowly peeling away the backing an inch at a time pressing down with your fingers as you go. Fold the edges over last once you’ve worked any ripples out. Install the pre cut top piece last. Looks & fits perfect. Take your time this stuff really sticks.

Ecxellent product. I didn't find this all that hard to use. As others have said, cut into three strips. First I cut a strip the same width as the bottom and placed that down. yes this stff is sticky but not so much that you couldn't pull it up if you placed it wrong. Once I had the bottom in place i used a panel tool to firmly press it in place. Than I installed the sides and folded it over the edges. Maybe they changed the adhesive, but until you firmly press it on, you can lift the felt off the metal and reposition it. Don't be afraid of this stuff. Do it in 3 sections. It looks great once installed

Needs to be about 1/2” wider after cutting in the curvature for the bottom you loose so material for the sides. Other than that works ok. Would recommend

I read all the reviews on this product first and noticed that the installation appeared to be a problem for some people. The material is good quality and the adhesive backing is definitely sticky. I took my time and used a paint stick as another review mentioned and could not be happier with the outcome. You definitely will not have to worry about the material coming off of the track and I had enough to wrap around the edges like the factory material was installed. Take your time and it will come out great.
