COVER, Battery, Delco DC-12, Top Post, Black finish, includes six black fill caps, reproduction
Want the classic look of the Delco DC-12 battery but with the convenience of a modern battery? We have the reproduction cover to satisfy your needs! Each battery cover offering comes in a black finish and fits most maintenance-free flat-top group 24 / 60 batteries with original terminal location. Cover measures 10 3/8 inch length x 6 15/16 inch width x 13/16 inch height, with 8 1/8 inches of width between the top post openings (center to center). Our DC-12 top post style battery covers include 6 black fill caps or 6 yellow fill caps with yellow "DELCO" text molded on caps.
Note:
Some batteries may require terminal extenders to allow posts to completely come through topper. See NPD part number C-2000-130A.

Having had several original Delco DC12 tar top batteries, I am very pleased with this product for its similarity to the original. I enter my 64 GTO in car shows in the "Original" classification, and the tar topper adds to that quality. I've had a repro Delco DC12 battery on backorder for over a year and the tar topper is a quick fix for not having the original battery.
