These decals are located in various locations of the engine depending on the engine and assembly plant. Boss 429 and Metuchen Boss 302 cars were usually located on the air cleaner snorkel. Dearborn built Boss 302s were usually located on the front top or center side area of the drivers side valve cover. Other applications were typically located on the front top area of the drivers side valve cover.
