The best dash pad available for your 1970-1978 Camaro: the NPD exclusive dash pad. Starting with original GM dash pads, new tooling was created to mold original-style urethane into the correct shape with improved grain, sheen and construction, plus the weight and sturdiness of the original pad. Improved construction includes ABS-plastic with steel reinforcement panel for the body and another reinforcement panel for gauge area, This creates a stronger pad than any other reproduction or OE-type pad available.
Note:
Pad can be dyed to match other interior colors (use flexible type dye).
Installation Note:
This pad features additional attachment points for a clean edge, and must be used with our part number C-14655-57K clip and fastener kit.

Good enough for the girls I run with! Fits the car like the original one did but better and looks a lot better. I haven’t tested next to other companies version but as far as I am concerned I definitely made the best choice. I really like the added reinforcement and the texture is pure pleasure. I will be a repeat customer.

The part is definitely nicer than the other available aftermarket pieces. Needs to be a better way to mount the pad at the two places above the cluster and a little longer on both ends. Fits good other than that I was able to get all the bolts in it

This was my second purchase for a new dash pad and wish it had been my first. While this and the other from a different supplier were almost identical, the mounting studs for this dash pad were molded into the pad correctly whereas the other had them protruding above the surface which raised the overall pad higher when installed than it should have been. Lesson learned - I hope you don't make the same mistake as I and purchase this product your first time. Good luck to you on your restoration.

Just got around to putting mine in today on my 1976 camaro, and man... what a great aftermarket part. It actually fit better than the original. and it looks like these are produced under strict quality control standards. without manny options for a reproduction dash for these car's THANKYOU NPD. I don't normally leave reviews unless its a super quality part and yields no buyers remorse

First of all I would like to thank Will for his excellent help. I bought a dash pad from NPD 15 years ago and didn't like the feel or texture and sent it back without any questions asked, excellent service. I heard about this New dash pad manufactured by NPD great reviews still wanting a replacement I went ahead and bought this new pad, when I received it it looked and felt really nice and great texture but when it went on the car it was if the car just left the showroom just a fantastic fit and awesome look.My original dash pad is almost 50 yrs. old and has had the curl repair by me, this has to be the best dash pads on the market . very good reproduction very good fit I really like the product the only reason I only gave it 3 stars is when we were done installing it I went to wipe it down and the paint came off otherwise it would be a great product better than the rest I not going to take it back out I'll just have to live with it
