If you're buying one of the reproduction dashes, buy this kit. My original dash only had 3 of these clips. Someone tried to save a buck back in the day by eliminating two of the mounting studs from the dash pad and 2 of these clips. Well guess where the dash tends to warp? NPD's reproduction dash has all 5 of the studs molded in, so you might as well use all 5 of these clips.

if you are installing a new dash pad you will need the clips recommended by the supplier to insure proper fit , factory clips may or may not be the same. my opinion clips should be included with pad when purchased.
