No special modifications are required to mount these to your car so you do not have to hack any additional holes in your cowl sheet metal. Run your speaker wires (included with speakers) and mount the panels using the existing mounting screws and holes. Paintable to match your interior using our VP- line of interior paint for plastics.
Note: We have found that the LH side is extremely tight with many speaker grilles and can interfere with the emergency brake handle.

The parking brake rubs on the side of the driver's side kick panel. Cannot install a speaker cover on the driver's side. The passenger side looks great, but the driver's side does not work.

There is no perforation, and you need to be moderately talented to cut and mount speakers in them. And forget about using speaker grills and even if you flush mount the speakers your emergency brake pedal will scrape the panel. So while it is a nice idea, they won't work, as a pair. Is there nobody testing these items before they are available for sale?

I wish more people would of put less stars. These are junk. I did not realize I would have to cut the speaker hole out of them. According to the description, these are the best thing since sliced bread. I do not recommend these at all. Very different description than the actual product
