Custom Cross Flow Dual Pass Aluminum Radiator

Core 17.5” tall x 19.125” wide x 2.25” thick. Overall dimensions 19.75” tall x 24” wide x 2.875” thick, RH inlet, RH outlet, (8F005-67M_ for hose fittings). No oil cooler. A cross flow replacement radiator built in the US! This is a complete package: the fan shroud is incorporated with the radiator and it includes a 16” Turbo series fan. The radiator and shroud are show polished to a mirror finish. This radiator replaces the original down flow design and bolts to the stock core support. With some modifications, this radiator can be mounted in a 65-66 Mustang. This radiator does use brackets to mount to the core support.

Note: Thicker than original radiators may require a shorter fan spacer. Check for a minimum of 1/2” clearance (1” preferred) between the fan and radiator core BEFORE you start your engine! The use of a different length of fan spacer can easily remedy this. Thicker than original radiators may also need modifications to the saddle mounts to fit the thicker tanks and for the location of the drain cocks. 67’s using 24” extra cooling radiators, brass or aluminum, will require the use of 68-70 lower mounts (8052-1A, 1B, 1C) for a proper mounting.

Aluminum radiators and heater cores require 50/50 mix coolant replacement at least every 24 months or 30,000 miles to maintain the necessary silicate levels that prevent corrosion in aluminum.
