This mounting kit is designed to give you all the correct rivets needed to mount your factory luggage rack to your 1986-1993 Fox Mustang Convertible. This kit includes 10 correct black finished metal rivets that feature the correct head size and length to give you the flush look just like OEM. So if your rivets are rusted or you are painting your Fox convertible and looking to reinstall your factory luggage rack, NPD has you covered with this proper mounting kit!
Restoration Note:
The factory original luggage rack only featured 8 rivets to properly mount the luggage rack tothe trunk lid, and used two torx style screws on the outer two rear edges where the back main bar attaches. This is believe to be done so if service to the rear third brake light is needed a rivet would not needed to be drilled and replaced.
Note:
This kit does not included those torxs screws but includes two extra rivets to properly secure your luggage rack and give you a OEM style look and finish.
