The design of these radiators gives them a 10% cooling advantage over the Champion 4 row and 20% over the Champion 3 row. Drain cock is included and a factory fan shroud for the same application will fit.
Note: Thicker than original radiators may require a shorter fan spacer, a different fan or an electric fan. Check for a minimum of 1/2” clearance (1” preferred) between the fan and radiator core BEFORE you start your engine! Thicker than original radiators may also need modifications to the saddle mounts to fit the thicker tanks and for the location of the drain cocks. 67’s using 24” extra cooling radiators, brass or aluminum, will require the use of 68-70 lower mounts (8052-1A, 1B, 1C) for a proper mounting.
Aluminum radiators and heater cores require 50/50 mix coolant replacement at least every 24 months or 30,000 miles to maintain the necessary silicate levels that prevent corrosion in aluminum.

This is an excellent product! I installed this rad in my 1968 Cougar with a 347 stroker engine. It cools even in slow traffic and the quality is excellent. I also purchased the #8146-3 shroud, #8B274-17A hose set, #8600-8A fan, F-8A616-9 fan clutch, #8146-2K shroud hardware, #8A193-1C upper mount. The correct insulators are #8124-1C uppers, #8125-1B lowers, and the correct lower brackets are #8052-1B. I hope this helps as it is difficult to figure out the mount parts in the catalog. I also had to space my stock motor mounts up 1/4" where the mounts bolt to the block to give equal clearance on the fan shroud to the fan, no big deal though and this may not be required depending on your car. Overall a great upgrade for a small block car.
