2 row, 1 1/4” tubes, 82 cores, 16 fins per inch, 19 5/8” core width x 16 1/2” core height x 3” core thickness, inlet 1 1/2” RH, outlet 1 3/4” RH, 6 “ trans cooler, front mount.
High efficiency core. OE style stamped and polished tanks. OE mounting. 100% TIG welded no epoxy used anywhere. Lifetime manufacturers warranty. The design of these radiators gives them a 10% cooling advantage over the Champion 4 row and 20% over the Champion 3 row. Drain cock is included and a factory fan shroud for the same application will fit.
See 8006-2AK, 8006-2CK, 8006-3AK, 8006-3CK for mounting hardware options.
Note: Thicker than original radiators may require a shorter fan spacer, a different fan or an electric fan. Check for a minimum of 1/2” clearance (1” preferred) between the fan and radiator core BEFORE you start your engine! Thicker than original radiators may also need modifications to the saddle mounts to fit the thicker tanks and for the location of the drain cocks, 67’s using 24” extra cooling radiators, brass or aluminum, will require the use of 68-70 lower mounts (8052-1A, 1B, 1C) for a proper mounting.
Aluminum radiators and heater cores require 50/50 mix coolant replacement at least every 24 months or 30,000 miles to maintain the necessary silicate levels that prevent corrosion in aluminum.
** Note: Fastening of fans or other accessories to the radiator through the core will VOID any warranty.
** Note: Cold Case requires customers to contact them directly for any radiator defects or warranty claims. Do not return any product to NPD. **

Despite it being advertised as the same height as my old radiator it would not fit my stock 1967 Mustang convertible without cutting the underside of my hood. In addition the radiator cap did not hold pressure and had to be changed. The installation was done professionally.

-Cools much better over copper/brass. Especially when moving. Car idles better in heat and traffic. Bolt up for mounting and fan shroud bolts was spot-on. -Fitted with it a thermostatic fan clutch with 6 blade 17" fan Sits about 1/2" to 2/3" away from radiator mesh without any spacer which is perfect. -Fit nicely with an aluminum enclosed overflow canister. - Had to cut away about a 5-6" section of the bottom of the 20" plastic fan shroud. Blade was hitting it. Coincidentally this now makes it 10x easier to install and take off shroud as it can go around the installed fan which was very tight fit. -That aluminum rad gets HOT. I wasn't careful and got several burns on my wrists. Big difference from the non-aluminum stick style rads. But it's good because it is vening away more heat. -If you use a thicker style rad cap like that Motorcraft with the release tab (RL-12) on a car like my 68' Couple you have to face the release tab to front but the hood will still crush it a bit. Went back to a more radial vented cap and it clears just fine.

Like other’s have said, the stock cap is junk; chrome peels off, and it bypasses coolant too early (car runs hot). Cold Case customer support says this is a 16 lb cap, but the spring is week and mine seems to be a non-standard size so I’ve yet to find a replacement that will fit (radiator neck is too deep for a common Stant 10230). This radiator is also taller than a stock radiator and will rub your hood in the best-case scenario. The stock fan shroud will not fit without modification, and will not cover the entire core even with modification. Overall I am not impressed, and less so because I asked the NPD staff about fan shroud fitment BEFORE I ordered this radiator and was assured I wouldn’t have any issues. I would return it, but I made the unfortunate mistake of painting my radiator before I test-fit it. Perhaps My issues are just bad quality control; maybe I just got a bad radiator. If you buy one, make sure it fits and works properly before you modify it.
