If your original dust cover is in good condition but you want to enhance its protection, the peel-and-stick gasket from Daniel Carpenter is an excellent option. This additional gasket can be easily installed between the dust cover and the bellhousing, offering extra defense against dirt and debris, something the original dust shields lacked.
Note:
For the correct style mounting screw needed to properly install your original dust cover, you can refer to NPD's part number M-7513-8AK, which provides the appropriate mounting kit.
