THis is an OEM Quality tempered alloy spring steel part meeting the functional needs of its purpose. This part has a HUGE and interesting history that is totally counterintuitive. I would LOVE to know who made it and when- as it has historical signifigance. Yet- I will likely never know, Reveal of rade secrets always make interesting reading. Yet, the winners write the history!
