I was hoping to use the original housing in my '69 Malibu, but the new lighter just wouldn't fit. This was the perfect solution.

A little difficulty using this lighter socket with OEM retainer. After massaging, successfully mounted into instrument panel. Once mounted- works well!

The lighter canister was a perfect fit and worked properly. The old one had a dead short, which caused blown fuses. This cigarette case / housing eliminated the short. NPD has been a go-to for parts for my 1967 Camaro. I would recommend this part.
