Description

CARPET, Mass backed Raylon weave, aqua, with heel pad and without toe pad to match the original carpet style, Carpet is serge bound and rises up the rocker panel just like the original late carpets did, Made from OEM grade materials, These carpets have a sturdy poly backing and are heat molded to follow the contours of the floor - just like the originals, Heel pads match the original and are sewn on, All exposed edges are serge bound in a matching thread duplicating the original carpet, The Raylon weave is a near exact duplicate of the original twisted loop design found on the original nylon carpet but in 100% nylon that will last longer and look better than the nylon design without the tendency to fuzz and pill, The thread is also thicker than original at 16.5 denier compared to 14 denier for the original nylon, ** Mass backed ** is an Ethylene vinyl acetate, A 40 mil thick material added to the back of the standard carpeting, It adds insulation, sound deadening and improves the quality of the mold process of the carpet, See 013000-3K, 013000-4K for mounting hardware options, ** Toe pads were seen on some cars prior to about Nov 1969 but their use was not consistent, From about Nov 69 ALL cars came without toe pads including all Boss 302 and Boss 429 cars, ** * Ships from manufacturer, Allow a minimum of 1-8 weeks for delivery, Currently, however, some manufacturers are requiring much longer lead times, *
