Concours correct all steel case with correct long plunger and 3/4 long stud. The plunger on this Dashpot is 1/4 longer than 9B549-1A and was used from 1968 on and is correct for cars and trucks through 1976 and a close replacement for 1977-1986. Note: there are several minor variations of case styles, thread lengths and Patent text seen at the same time, all would be considered correct. Uses 33923-S7 nut and 34806-S7 lock washer although lock washers are not always present.
