Verified Buyer CAP, POWER STEERING PUMP RESERVOIR

I bought this item for my 1965 mustang and when I put it on my steering pump it was extremely loose fitting and would not seal. would not buy again.

We test-installed this cap, as well as its zinc-plated counterpart, onto both new and rebuilt Ford-style large-neck pumps. We found that the caps fit extremely snug. In fact, there were a couple in our inventory that we could barely twist on. So we were not able to replicate this review. Our concern is that reservoirs over the years, both Ford and aftermarket, may vary in the tolerances of the fill-neck and the way the cap engages.
