CABLE ASSY, SPEED CONTROL SPEEDOMETER, LOWER, 60 INCHES LONG, REPRO D9BZ-9A820-D, D9BZ-9A820-C, E2BZ-9A820-B
These replacement style cables are designed to replace your factory units that used factory installed speed control. Ford originally used a upper and lower cable on the 1979-82 model years and then went to a one piece cable with the speed control mounted at the transmission. See (M-9E731-3) for correct speed control sensor for 1983-1993 model years. Please note that some cables may be longer then your original units due consolidating original lengths.
Note:
When replacing your new speed control / speedometer cable correct cable lubricant is required before installation. See 9A820-1LB for correct cable lubricant.
