This is a quality part and was easy to install. The connector for the carburetor is firm when installed, but removes without a ton of force if you need to service your carb.

Exact-fit cable, but poor quality. Tensioner broke when I went to snap it on the linkage ball of the carburetor. Had to salvage the used one from my old, junk cable.

Functional but creates more problems than it solves, making for a lousy driving and installation experience. 1. Cable length is correct but outer sleeve is appx. 3/4” too long and when it is bolted on correctly in place this added length creates an unnatural bend/kink, binding the cable and creating a rock-hard pedal. 2. Plastic socket (carb side) is too long with a flared bottom (unlike the original) that does not allow WOT and must be shortened. 3. Plastic tabs that pass through carb bracket need to be filed down slightly to seat and secure cable on that end. Ultimately removed and had to source an original,hard to find cable to make right. Simple fixes in manufacturing could make this good product.

The type of plastic this is made with is junk. Spend another 10 cents and make it out of Nylon or something that doesn't snap off when bent. The cable needs to be bent to install in the motor bracket and the thin inside cable sleeve will break, almost every time if it gets any bending pressure while installing. I'm on my third one and i carry a spare. Not the smoothest cable but functional. Once the cable sleeve breaks it's sticky. The outer sleeve is too long so you can't get full throttle without modifying. Other than those things, it's a great functional product. :(
