Thick metal comparable to original. Competing parts are missing the extra bracing around the cab mount hole which is the attention to detail that made me decide to buy this costlier piece from NPD. It fit well and, thankfully, needed no adjusting so far. I still have to replace part of the floor that will attach to the bottom half, but the floor panel and this piece appear to align closely enough. I have had to reconstruct the surrounding metal, so I can't say how well it fits if this is the only part that needs replacing.
