This is a perfect fit for my 1967 Mercury Cougar XR7 GT with a 390 CI engine. These are VERY hard to replace, however. I would NOT recommend replacing these. My suggestion is to replace the entire spring saddle. The cost difference is minimal (when you shop around), and the challenge of removing the old bushing/rod is a tough one. I damaged my saddle when I used my press to extract the old one and had to buy new saddles anyway. I give the part a high rating because it's an exact replacement - just way too much trouble to take out the old one and install this new one.

excellent reproduction of coil spring perch bushing. Note: it is very labor intensive to get the old bushing removed from your original spring perch without destroying the perch in the removal process. Once accomplished the new bushing is a easy installation.

A cost effective repair part. I was able to rebuild my OEM perch springs. You will need a press to install these. Reproduction perch springs are crimped to retain the assembly. You will have to punch the metal or spot weld these. Reduced noise was immediate.
