These bushings are much thinner than the originals: 0.110" vs 0.125". The window is less "sloppy" with the worn originals than with the replacements.

These sliders worked fine for me. I had seen comments online where the thickness is off by about .010” on these repop sliders, resulting in loose windows, It is true that they are slightly thinner but Ford did use shims sometimes and I used 3M 427 “ speed tape” to fit my window sliders. The aluminum tape is roughly .005” thick, so you can use as many layers as necessary. Just put layers of tape on the aluminum guide fingers and you can use a razor and make cutouts after install and snap the slider overtop to get a perfect fit. Clean it well and it will never comes off. We use this tape on various applications on the outside of aircraft and it does not peel loose if the area is cleaned properly, and that’s in a 400-500 MPH slipstream in flight.

As others have mentioned, these are thinner than originals. This will cause the window to feel loose. However, I found a solution from another site. Use the plastic that fruit is packaged in, to create a "gasket" of sorts. I measured it out, and in makes the almost like originals. Way better fit doing this.
