10 watt SMD style lights are more efficient than normal LEDs. SMD diodes, low heat. Requires the use of an electronic flasher unit 13350-6B for both the turn signal and emergency flasher circuits.
If you are comparing these 10w bulbs to our 7.5w or other 8w bulbs these bulbs are a TON brighter than either because the actual output is 10 watts were the 7.5w and 8w bulbs actually put out more like 3.78 watts. The 10w white bulbs are rated at 840 lumens so expect the red and yellow to be a little less than that number.
All our Plasma 1157 LED bulbs have a built in 1 way blocking diode (aka resistor) to prevent the voltage from jumping from the high side contact to the low side and activating other lights on the circuit.
