I ordered this months ago and installed. It looks perfect and is correct for a concourse restoration but doesnt work. Finally got the car running and power to the wiring harness and the fuse keeps blowing for the fan. After a little bit of testing, I found the motor has an internal short to ground and the whole body of the motor is grounding out. It has been to long to return and now i am stuck.

We contacted this customer and exchanged the motor, as it was clearly defective. Exchanges and returns on electrical parts can be "tricky", because in many cases the problem is due to issues beyond the item itself. However, know that NPD is an ethical and reasonable company, and we also understand that your restoration/project progress might be slow or delayed. TEST BEFORE INSTALLATION. The motor looked great and I was able to get it installed without issue. I reconnected power and as soon as I turned the key the fuse would blow. After some testing it would seem like I am encountering a similar issue to Andrew M. where the body of the motor is grounding out.
