Restoration Note:

The 2003-2004 Mustang Cobra models featured Bilstein from the factory on both the front and rear. The 1999-01 as well as 2003-2004 Cobra models also offered a IRS rear suspension setup that was different form all other Mustang models. These B6 series rear shocks from Bilstein are a upgrade for 1999-2001 Mustang Cobra owners over the factory Motorcraft units. 2003-2004 Cobra owners these B6 series units are designed to be a close as possible OE style replacement for your factory equipped Bilstein units.

Installation Note:

Bilstein suggest that if you own a 1999-2004 Mustang Cobra and are going to use lowering springs or any type of after-market style spring you should use their B8 Performance Plus series Shocks or Struts. See M-18124-105BA for B8 front struts and M-18125-105BA for B8 series rear shocks for your Cobra model.
