Received two of these. The retaining rings were different with one being natural steel with sharp edges and the other being zinc dichromate and rounded edges. Probably will not install.

Well that's a drag -- there was a time National Bearings were 'Made in the USA'...come to find out, they are now Made in China. With that said, the bearings fit nicely on my Late '66 Coupe and for the time being, all is good. The whole China-bit is my reasoning behind the 4-Star Rating...

Part fit perfectly on my 66 Mustang with 8" readend. The car still had its original bearing, so replacing made a big differences in sound / smoothness. Don't forget to buy a new oil seal too.
