I thought I was buying a BATTERY, not just a battery case ! Lack of clarity in your online presentation cost me time and shipping, I sent the case back in original packaging the same day. Where is my refund ??

The title of this product begins with “Battery Case”, and the full description (which should always be read regardless of the product you are considering) states:
“BATTERY CASE, Autolite *Sta-Ful*, Group 24F, concours accepted, Display unit only! Empty case only with red caps, These are display only pieces with no internal parts, Some have taken these cases and modified them to use a smaller battery inside”
So I do not see how we could be ANY clearer. The moment we receive it back, a refund will be processed, which are batch-mailed (check) every Thursday. We 100% assure you that we refund promptly and fully.
We’re
sorry that this happened. We do not carry the batteries, because we used
to, and the track-record was horrific. So many customers having
batteries fail prematurely, even under trickle-charge, and the manufacturer/supplier
always found an excuse to dodge responsibility and never would exchange or
credit. So we threw in the towel, and now only sell cases for display or Optima-conversion.

The product looks great. It needs to have the caps removable so that you can replace them with yellow caps depending on the year that you have. The tag on top should become neutral and not designated for a 69

I needed a replica Autolite 24F battery to compliment a period restoration and I considered this one after a long time searching for a workable piece. This unit looks the part and actually has a bonus with real screw in vent caps instead of the common self adhesive copies out there. All things considered it is a good visual clone IMHO. NPD gave me a shipping quote almost immediately and once I had purchased they expedited my order and shipping quickly. I am in the UK so as usual with an international order it came to me with additional import duty taxes but I personally think it was worth the overall cost. I am a new customer here and have found my NPD experience very wothwhile and will consider ordering more parts for my cars in the future. A happily satisfied customer.
