These simple kits are designed to allow the use of all your original drum brake hardware while converting over to a 5 lug setup. Our axle and drum kit includes everything you need for your installation. These kits are offered in both a 28 or 31 spline setup and include 1541H high carbon steel axle shafts that are 35% stronger then the stock units. They feature a 5 x 4.5 bolt pattern and work with the stock 9 inch size rear drums. Please note that these kits included both a 7.5 and 8.8 rear gasket due to the difference in design.
Installation Note: If new C-clips are required due to damage to your original units See M-4N237-1B for new replacement units.
Note:
28 spline units are designed to be used with stock differential units. 31 spline units require a different differential unit the excepts 31 spline axle shaft.
