Not sure if my pan was the problem, it probably was, conventional gaskets would leak. Maybe the new pan and standard gasket would have worked. Other than that this gasket seems like overkill, but NO LEAKS!! It probably would have worked with my beat up old pan. I've made old pans leak free many times, but I'm getting to old to save a buck. Just start with this gasket and save any hassles.

After fighting with other gaskets (dumping fluid twice), I decided on this tranny pan gasket. I will never try another gasket again. This is the “go to” gasket for me. No leeks, no drama! Absolutely the best in the market!

Works better than any gasket I have previously used. I would use a brand new pan, or a cast pan, if you are purchasing this gasket to combat a persistent leak. Also, I torqued to only 3 ft-lbs; which worked very well.
