Aluminum Rear Mount 16 gallon EFI Fuel Tank with 0-90 ohm sender for (55-59)
Feeling cramped and want more space? Tired of the smell of fuel and riding around huddled up with your fuel tank? Relocate your fuel tank from inside the cab to gain more space and safety with this Boyd Tanks rear mounted 16 gallon aluminum non-EFI baffled fuel tank.
Tank comes with an EFI in tank pump assembly and Aeromotive 340 pump, 0-90 ohm sending unit, and rollover safety vent valve already installed.
Note:
This is the tank with an EFI in tank pump assembly and Aeromotive 340 pump, plate is threaded with a -6 ORB Female(9/16-18 Port), 0-90 ohm fuel sending unit and roll over safety vent already installed. (0-90 ohm is for aftermarket or 1967 later gauges, see K-3001R-55B for stock 0-30 ohm assembly.) We recommend NPD Premium Wiring Kit K-3106R-1A to wire the Aermotive 340 Fuel pump. Choose fill options from either aluminum fill neck or flush mount bed floor fill kit sold separately:* Aluminum neck with cap (NPD part number K-3003R-50C)OR* Flush Mount Bed Floor Fill Kit (p/n K-3003R-50F)
Tank can be used for ethanol but long term usage or storage will be an issue because of the water ethanol attracts and it is not recommended to run E85 100% of the time with an aluminum tank.
